Yes! MX Select Dumbbells and Barbell sets are easy to use. Simply push the dial release button, rotate the selector dial to your desired weight, push the dial, and start lifting.

Our Patented Dual Dial Adjustment System is designed with 100% metal moving Gears and shafts that are repairable if damaged by accidents or misuse. 

Yes, Imagine that! if you can break our dumbbell you can actually fix it and that's not the case in the Adjustable Dumbbell World.  If you have accidental or non-accidental damage to our competitors handles, very rarely is there a solution aside from purchasing replacement handles or a whole new dumbbell set. 

We purchase and test practically every major brand's Pro Style Adjustable Dumbbells and compare them to MX Select. It is fascinating to see how much plastic is commonly used in some of the largest brand name products. There are a lot of dumbbells that look and feel nice on the outside, but when we look "under the hood" we are amazed by what is actually holding together many of the other 50 lbs to 90 lbs dumbbells. 

Our Plates have a Polymer Coated Steel Core with Dual Locking Tabs.  

Wheewwphff... thats alot, what does that mean?

Well, Our plates are "steel core" meaning they we start with a laser cut steel plate (not cheap cast iron) that is stamped into shape, then 100% coated with a polymer based Injection Mold. The Polymer based coating will Never Rust, it is Smooth, quiet and Easy to clean. 

The patented Dual Locking tabs on our plates are part of the injection molding process that makes the tabs a structural part of the entire plate, that can be trusted to secure the weight plates to the handle assembly when properly selected.

MX Select Dumbbells are the only prostyle Adjustable Dumbbell that we've found (and we've searched far and wide) that can be easily rebuilt (in most cases) if non warranty damage occurs.  

Rebuild kits for our dumbbells range from $9.99-$29.99 depending on what is going on with your Dumbbell. Rebuilding your dumbbell takes about 10-15 minutes for most first timers (no special skill required, just watch our youtube video and have a 4mm Allen Wrench (these come with your original owners manual), a nice pliers, and some paper towels). 

In 2021 MX Select transitioned from a metal knurled handle to a Polymer based contoured handle. 

Our new Handle design has a slightly larger Diameter than our previous handle which allows for users of all hand sizes to confidently grip the dumbbell handle. 

The polymer Material is Antimicrobial and the matte textured finish stays secured in your hand even if your hands wet while working out. 

Our Patented Dual Dial Adjustment Handles have Two Dials for multiple reasons;

1. It allows our users to select different weights on each side of the handle. If you haven't tried "Offset" Training before, it can add incredible variety to your workouts. Simply add a couple extra plates to one side of the dumbbell handle for pressing, bicep and shoulder movements. Start light and see where "Offset" training can help your workouts. 

2. Our Mechanisms are designed with 100% metal gears and shafts, we do NOT use small wires, plastic gears, or little plastic tabs. Our Design requires the use to use of a dial on each end of our dumbbell handle to accurately select your desired weight. 

All MX Dumbbells Are sold as Pairs, Every order will include One Pair (QTY = 2) MX Dumbbells. 

Each Pair of Dumbbells will arrive in Two boxes (One box = One single Dumbbell = Two boxes total)

Each one of the two boxes contain: One MX Dumbbell (includes MX Handle and MX weights), Steel Dumbbell Cradle, 4 Rubber Cradle feet, Owners manual, 4mm allen wrench, 4 mounting screws to mount the cradle feet. 

Changing weights on the MX Select is FAST, it take just seconds to go from 10-55 lbs on our MX55. 

We don't want to brag, but after playing around with MX Select for a couple minutes most of our staff can change weights on a MX Select handle from the lightest setting to the heaviest setting in just 5 seconds or less. 

If an extra plate is riding along with your dumbbell it's a sign that either your cradle ends are adjusted too tight (every cradle is set and checked at the factory, but can come out of alignment during transit and shipping if the boxes are mishandled) or Your dumbbell plates need to be cleaned.

Please refer to your owners manual for simple instructions on how to adjust your cradle ends with the 4mm tool included with every MX Select Dumbbell set. 

MX Select Plates can be easily cleaned with Armor-all automotive wipes or spray to remove any spilled liquid, dirty or buildup while also adding a smooth low friction finish to the MX Select plates.

Tracking numbers may not show status updates for 12-24 hours. 

The tracking number that you receive from our system will be the "Parent" tracking number for your entire order. Each box will have it's own individual tracking number. To track each box go to FedEx.com type in the "parent" tracking number and scroll down to see the status of each box. 

All of our dumbbells are sold as pairs. 

If you only received one dumbbell, a small percentage of our orders get separated during the transit process from our warehouse to you. The rest of your order is likely still in transit.

We insure every single order we ship out, to protect you and us. 

If your order arrives and the boxes are beat up, but there is no damage to your items, then Great... the box did it's job. Please recycle the boxes and start lifting!

If your order arrives and the boxes look damaged and there is Damage to the Dumbbells or the plates, Please email service@mxfitnesssupply.com. We'll need photos of the boxes and the damage. We will get it taken care of ASAP. 

We do not wait for insurance reimbursement to fix a damaged order. We prioritize all replacement orders ASAP.  

Anytime an order arrives and our products are damaged during transit, it helps us out immensely to have photos of the boxes and of the products so we can submit claims to our shipping insurance and FedEx. 

Fedex Ground and Fedex home delivery estimate almost every box we ship out to be delivered to the lower 48 USA within 4 days. 

Our warehouse is located in Minnesota, Most midwest locations are 1-2 days after shipment. Most coastal areas are up to 4 days.

MX SELECT USA warrants that the MX Products, purchased from MX Fitness Supply, MX Select USA or one MX Select USA north american authorized dealers in its undamaged original packaging, is free from defects in materials and workmanship. MX SELECT USA will, at their discretion, repair or replace parts that become defective within the warranty period, subject to the specific inclusions and exclusions below. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose in some states.

MX SELECT USA will repair or replace any component of or within the Handsets should it fail due to any defect in materials or workmanship within 24 Months of the original purchase date. Proof of Purchase is required for validation of Warranty. Parts Warranty does not apply if the Handset has been dropped. If damage to the Handset has occurred from Misuse or Accidental Dropping Please contact service@mxfitnesssupply.com for an inexpensive rebuild kit.

With over 70 years of experience in the Adjustable Dumbbell, Home Fitness and Commercial Fitness businesses, there's not alot our team hasn't seen in terms of accidents, Damage, and unforeseen issues in regards to fitness equipment of all kinds. 

MX Select USA's warranty does not cover damage from misuse, drops or accidents that result in damage to the dumbbell handle assembly (or any of its internal parts) or damage to the plates.
